It really can’t be that easy. Here is the link to the dry lake bed they showed on google maps. I really doubt a bunch of bloggers can figure out the secret location of the dry lake bed.

Just after I saw the show I went and searched for the "top secret" site. Found it in about 5 minutes or so using gargle earth. I think the producers have not only sold out Sonny's secret spot, which may have been his retirement fund, but also the residents of Corwin who will now have thousands of meteorite hunters and unemployed desperate people showing up to look for these meteorites.
Bummer!
I knew something was wrong when at the beginning of the show, one of the asked if they were close to Area 51. Based on the dry lake bed, they are no where near area 51.
Unless the real location of dry lake bed is actually in the south near the Alamo Breccia. That area is close to Area 51.
They did throw a fake location on there the mountains are not placed right and when i went there ( i dont live far, about 3 hours away) it was not the location so the dry lake bed is still "top secret"
Try the dry lakebed just on the otherside of the mountains east of Ely NV along hwy 893 looks like the spot according to google earth.
You guys might get lucky if you keep looking around.

I believe the mention of Area 51 had to do when they were on their way up Highway 93 to Ely. They would have passed nearby the general area, as the junction of Highways 93 and 375 (the "Extraterrestrial Highway"). is about 20 miles from Groom Lake Road.
Near the end of the program on their way back to Las Vegas they stopped at the Alamo Breccia and climbed a small hill, overlooking Groom Lake Road.
