This hurts me to post, but as you know there is a malware circulating called Antivirus 2009. I found this on Yahoo answers, some person actually paid the 50 bucks and wanted to transfer it to his new vista machine. I know that people how actually get this and pay for it are victims, but from a techie point of view it’s hilarious to read.
Is XP antivirus 2009 compatible with Vista?
I got a new computer running windows Vista but I already paid for XP antivirus 2009 on my old computer. Will I be able to transfer it to my new one or is only compatible with windows XP?
I have paid $50 for that program and I’m going to use it if I can.
Can you also give me the link to re download it because they didn’t send me a CD
please help me I google it but all I can find is remove instructions not the likn to download it. help I’m losing my $50
Just in case they try to take it down, here is a screen shot.
The best comment I saw was:
Buy the tshirt here

Oh boy…that’s about as bad as people who come to me wanting to know why Limewire won’t work on campus since they paid $50 for it so they can “legally” download music.
UHHHHHHHH!
Sometimes the humor factor should out weigh legal issues. I do realize that a bit of money can hurt some people when lost. However living in too restrictive a society can also do harm.
I am reminded of the pretty Swiss girl who “purchased” a permit to go nude on Ft. Lauderdale beach. She placed her lawn chair on a high spot in full view of traffic and the brakes were screaming as drivers came to a sudden stop to stare and the pretty naked girl. Some local joker sold her the “permit” at the hotel bar. I was trying to convince her to cover herself before the police got involved and the sales job done on her was so great that with her broken English it was difficult to get her to realize that she had been scammed.
Or it was possibly a troll/flamebait.
9.9 in 10!
lol.but i disagree.i think the best comment was the one marked best answer by the asker.
“well, since you insist to use it,yes all trojans and viruses are compatible with all windows platforms.”(sic)(and yes i know that its not entirely true.)
