I haven’t played Counter Strike:Source in a while, maybe over a year or so. I saw a google ad for something called Tournament.com a while back. I tried it out last night and won $2.85 usd for playing counter strike like I would usually.

Right now Tournament.com is in the BETA phase (aren’t we all?). You can play all the games you want, right now, for free. No entry fees or member sign up fees. Depending on what type of game you want to play is the amount of money you will get if you win.

Right now they offer two game titles: CS:S and Half-Life2:Deathmatch

Classic Mode:
Winning teams splits the money up 5 ways.

Deathmatch:
Top 3 players. Top 3 players get a share of the prize fund (1st - 50%, 2nd - 30%, 3rd - 20%)

GunGame:
Top 2 players:Two payout options available - winner takes all or top 2 split the prize fund (1st - 70%, 2nd - 30%):

Once they go live there will be big winnings and hopefully still have some free entry games like they do right now. Free entry games payout around $3.50 - $3.75. It ain’t much, but once you start playing it gets addictive. DialerDave is right about me… I’m a living advertisement.

I’m a big fan of the Lipton’s diet green tea. Recently at my local Wal-Mart they either refuse to sell the diet green tea or people tend to buy it more than the regular stuff.

I saw the new “White Tea” on the selves for about two weeks now. It looked like piss in a bottle, but so does the green tea.

This weekend my girlfriend and I were buying food at wally world and when we got to the check-out she pointed out the white tea with raspberry. So, I got it and tried it and now the tea is under the “awesome stuff” category in my blog.

If you are hesitant to try the new white tea like I was, don’t be… you’re just wasting good tea time

Where: Pontotoc, MS
When: Jan-February of 2007 (unsure of exact date)

We don’t know why, nor do we know who attempted this. It happened on a Hwy 6 going into Lee County coming from Pontotoc County. Local police and law enforcement couldn’t determine anything about the attack other than it was an attack…wow!

The land in which the bridge and new highway was built on, was taken or acquired by the Mississippi highway department. I was even in a court case about the land acquisitions of the State Department taken some land from a guy who lives about a stones throw from the bridge.  Either way, it could have been somebody pissed off at the whole acquisition deal, or just a bunch of drunk rednecks. Either way…nobody knows.

All we know is they used an unknown explosive device. Evidence was sent off to a crime lab, but absolutely no information on the results have been reported. To see a high resolution picture click here .

There was a small article that ran in the Pontotoc Progress about this event, but no real details was given other than what you read here.

UPDATE
On Wednesday the 7th of March the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) repaired the bridge going into Tupelo. It looks as if it never happened.

Yeah, I know you probably have seen this before, but I’m putting this down so I don’t forget it. Its just freaking amazing to see the images Google Maps can produce.
