When I create a new distribution group and someone tried to send a message from an external email address they get a bounce back saying: “user unknown”.
Solution:
EMC > Recipient Config > Distribution Group > DG Properties > Mail Flow Settings > Message Deliver Restrictions > Require that all senders are authenticated. Uncheck this as external [...]
