My puppies are chewing machines. If you put anything in the backyard they will chew it to pieces. Check out these photos of the destruction they can cause. I should put them to work as paper shredders. No costly machinery needed, just add puppies.

1. Chewed all the insulation off my brand new air conditioner.
2. Chewed the foam off of my weight bench
3. Chewed the lawn mower start cable of my push mower.

She Pooped On The Doctor

Ruby,one of my dogs, got fixed today. I got a text message on the way to work this morning, that said, “When the lady got Ruby out of the pet taxi, she pooped all over her.” I thought to my self, that’s my dog.

My wife started screaming, and called me into the kitchen. This time I knew that the dogs were in trouble, and not me. Though I wasn’t expecting a hole in the wall. I wasn’t mad at all. I actually thought it was funny. The door to the pantry was left open by mistake. They also tried to eat two raw potatoes and a roll paper towels.

I don’t know why they do this, but they like to be in the same pet taxi. It’s really not that big, but they like it like that. I think I’m blogging about my animals way too much, oh noes!!!:(

Our Dog is Dead After a Dog Attack

Dachshunds are like legends in my family. Burches have always raised wiener dogs (dachshunds). We have had lots of dachshunds since I was a kid. We even bred and raised dachshunds. Levi was the current family dog. Levi lived with my folks, where I grew up. I received an email asking for help come bury him. I got up, got dressed, grabbed my shovel and I was off to momma’s and daddy’s house. I buried him beside Skeeter, another legendary dachshund. I just felt it was the right thing to do. I really don’t think skeeter would mind it.

A neighbor’s dog (lab/part something else) attacked him. My mother said, “Levi was picked up and shook to the point I thought his back was broke.” Levi had wondered off into the neighbor’s yard and I guess that was his fault. Levi wasn’t a violent dog. He would try to defend himself. What good is that against a Labrador?
